I am very pleased to have the opportunity working at an education technology start-up company through the NxTEC Summer Internship Programme. I served as a Curriculum Developer, mainly responsible for preparing teaching materials and being the course tutor. When I first served as the course tutor, I could not master the skills to get along with children and often encountered difficulties in dealing with them. The colleague identified the issue and provided guidance to me to handle the situation. I was inspired and had learnt to prepare the teaching materials from student’s perspective, so that the curriculum would be more in line with student’s needs. The student interns and company employees were about similar ages and we got along very well. I was benefited from my internship experience as the senior colleagues were willing to share their knowledge such as their programming skills. Moreover,
