Job Description
At Midas Analytics, we are currently looking for a talented Data Engineer.
The candidate should have genuine passion in data and AI field, more specifically for NLP/NLU applications, who is willing to equip himself with a good and solid understanding of data-related operations/pipeline.
For this position, we are looking for a motivated endless fighter capable of executing tasks with no major supervision. The candidate should be always equipped with an innate ‘can do’ attitude.
The ideal candidate should not only possess programming skills, but also require organisation and conceptualisation skills along with a strong detail-orientation.
The ideal candidate should master (or be willing to develop) the following skills:
• Analytical, conceptual and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks when under extreme pressureAbility to identify, analyze and resolve system problems
• Keen to be a problem solver and a learner with agile development-related toolsExcellent time management
Skill Set Required
• Mastery in Python and JavaScriptGreat understanding of the development and deployment cycle (git, CI/CD, kubernetes and/or docker) in AWS
• Solid understanding of information processing fundamentals and best practicesBasic knowledge in Linux basic usage and OS commandSQL/NoSQL DB Management is a plus
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up is a plus
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree Student or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field (Students close to finish their degree and Fresh Graduates are welcome!)
• Software / System Architecture / Full-stack Development Experience and Innate Passion to learn more
• “Hungry” Fresh Graduates are welcome!
