InnoSpire Technology Limited is a technology startup with a social mission dedicated to the use of technology to provide visual assistance for elderly and visually impaired people. We are an incubatee under the Incu-App programme of Hong Kong Science and Technology Park. Currently, we have developed WeVoice Glasses, the FIRST smart glasses in the world that can provide hybrid human-AI visual support to visually impaired people or elderly, helping them read texts, recognise objects and identify directions etc.
Additionally, we have developed a mobile app called WeVoice+ to connect visually impaired people/elderly with weak eyesight to volunteers. Apart from AI text recognition, Real-time video call support can also be provided by backend volunteers to the users in need.
In this case, WeVoice Glasses and WeVoice not only help visually impaired/elderly people solve a lot of problems in their daily lives, but also improve their living standard and step-up social integration.

Job Description
• To assist our Software Engineer in the development of AI Computer Vision algorithms and functions such as image enhancement, video streaming. The scope of the AI computer vision will include but not limited to (1) Text recognition in written and regular format, (2) Colour recognition, (3) Bank notes.
• Design, code, build, test, debug, implement and maintain mobile applications using iOS, Android & React Native platforms.
• To troubleshoot and upgrade the existing mobile applications on various platforms, identify the needs for enhancement or modifications.
• To carry out web and mobile on-site testing on the developed algorithms.
Skill Set Required
• Experience in Web & Mobile App technologies: Javascript, Python, PHP, Java and Kotlin using Android Studio, Objective-C and Swift using Xcode and React Native development language.
• Experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform and Google Firebase.
• Experience in Arduino and Raspberry Pi is an advantage.
• Knowledge in computer vision
• Knowledge in UI/UX design is an advantage
