I have polished my interpersonal skills through working with my supervisor and colleagues, and believe this experience would be of great help in my future career.

I worked as a Market Developer Intern at a start-up company that developed a cross-border bus ticketing service platform under the NxTEC Summer Internship Programme. My main duty was to promote company’s services. During my internship, I was given a task to prepare an article for promoting company’s services. After I finished the task and submitted to my supervisor, it was found that the content of the article did not align with the subject. In the end, my supervisor had to revise the article himself. I was a bit uneasy at that time because I burdened my supervisor for fixing my task. It was a precious experience for me which reminded me to work more carefully in the future. There were various challenges I had encountered during my internship. The one that most commonly happened was to search for needed information online. There were times I could not find the information through online platforms. My supervisor would check on the work progresses from time to time, and had offered valuable advice and assistance to me, so that I could complete the tasks smoothly. I am very grateful to the guidance my supervisor had offered to me and the internship allowed me to practice the marketing knowledge I acquired from school to the real working environment.
