CG Global Entertainment Ltd (CGGE) is a company registered in Hong Kong with global perspective on the digital media industry and technology. Our founder Mr. Raymond D. Neoh had also founded GDC and IDMT training center in 2000 in Shenzhen, China along with his brother Mr. Anthony F. Neoh and listed in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (8271.hk). Mr. Neoh also started Institute of Digital Games Technology with the support and funding from of WDA ( Work Force Development) in Singapore. He also granted 20 Master Students Scholarships for Master Students in Nanyyang Technology University . Mr. Neoh had contributed to the creation of China CG animation industry more than 18 years ago. Today, his students had now occupied all the major positions and companies in the China animation industry. CGGE has set up the branches in the mainland China and in US. It aims to provide the professional services to the global digital media industry; to promote the development of the digital medial industry in China and cooperation between China and the rest of the world. We will set up a Eco-system for the industry.

Job Description

• Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements
• Utilize Python for the back-end and React for the front-end, along with other modern technologies
• Unit and automated testing for web application
• basics programming concepts also in python (variables, data types, conditional statements, for-loops), Iterables, querysets, dictionaries, functions, decorators, classes, packages, basic HTML and CSS
• Set up a local dev environment, spinning up an AWS instance, setting up Django application on ubuntu (nginx, pip, virtual environments) or resolving a couple of merge conflicts
• Understanding and work with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)

Skill Set Required

• Higher Diploma, Associate Degree, Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology or related discipline
• Experience in Python and Django , Iterables, querysets, dictionaries, functions, decorators, classes, packages, basic HTML and CSS
• Knowledge of server-side website programming, client-server interactions
• 1-3 years’ Experience in software engineering, DevOps, SDLC and agile philosophy
• Coding, Unit testing, Impact analysis, Code review, Design, Bug fix, Integration testing
• Good team player, positive attitude, able to work independently
• Good communication skill in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
• Maintaining ‘never-stop-learning’ attitude and a desire to develop and grow
