The candidates of the NxTEC Career Launcher have gone through a series of intensive and customized trainings covering technical skills, behavioral & job readiness as well as tech immersion into Science Park’s I&T ecosystem.

1. The above summary only gives a general overview of candidates’ skillsets after completing the training programmes provided by Generation Hong Kong.
2. Employers are encouraged to arrange interviews and assessments to evaluate the suitability of candidates to the role/s of your companies.

Eligibility & Application

  1. The Applicant Company must be:
    • A current incubatee of Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTPC)
    • A current tenant of Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTPC)
  2. The Applicant Company must offer an internship in either full-time, part-time or mixed mode in the innovation and technology sector for at least 3 months.
  3. The intern to be employed by the Applicant Company must fulfill all of the following criteria:
    • A Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) resident with a valid Hong Kong Identity Card (HKID).
    • Aged between 18 and 30
    • Legally permitted to work in Hong Kong
    • A graduate or full-time student enrolled in sub-degree programme offered by local institutions; or non-UGC funded bachelor degree programme in either a local university/ institution, or jointly awarded by a local university together with a non-local university; or
    • A graduate of training programme offered by Generation Hong Kong.
    • Must not be the proprietor, partner or shareholder of the Applicant Company and/ or their relatives.
    • Must not be receiving other employment subsidies provided by the Government of HKSAR and/ or other local public funding programme.
  1. The Applicant Company must be an incubatee or tenant of Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTPC).
  2. The Applicant Company must offer a full-time job placement to the trainee in the innovation and technology sector for at least 12 months and offer a monthly salary of at least HK$11,000.
  3. The trainee to be employed by the Applicant Company must fulfill all of the following criteria:
    • A Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) resident with a valid Hong Kong Identity Card (HKID).
    • A graduate of training programmes offered by Generation Hong Kong.
    • Must not be the proprietor, partner or shareholder of the Applicant Company and/ or their relatives.
    • Must not be an employee of the Applicant Company within the past three months prior to the Application submission date.
    • Legally permitted to engage in full-time work in Hong Kong.
    • Must not be receiving other employment subsidies provided by the Government of HKSAR and/ or other local public funding programme.
